2013 Labor Day Events in Greater Boston

Head to Boston for a fun Labor Day event this September.

Even as the summer winds down in Greater Boston and Haverhill, events and exciting activities around town certainly do not.  In fact, residents of Residences at Little River who are looking for fun autumn activities to pursue should consider heading toward Greater Boston for Labor Day.

After you’ve finished grilling out with family and friends, one Labor Day event in Boston that beer drinkers will love is the Fourth Annual Mass Brewers Fest being held on August 30th at the World Trade Center Headhouse Concourse. Though this event doesn’t fall directly on Labor Day, it’s a fun chance for beer drinkers to try craft beer from over 50 breweries that will be present at the brewery fest.  You will even have an opportunity to partake in specialty beers brewed just for the festival!

Another unique event to check out is A Sailor’s Life for Me! This event is being held during the Labor Day weekend at the USS Constitution Museum.  There will be lots of educational activities available for kids and adults alike, giving visitors the chance to learn about sea life aboard the USS Constitution, when America was at war in 1812.

If you’re looking for more events to jump start the autumn months, check out the blog at Residences at Little River.
